Description: A dayereh [or doyra, dojra, dajre, doira, dajreja, daire] it is a medium sized frame drum with jungles, used to accompany both popular and classic music from Iran, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, including Bukharan Jews, Azerbaijan where its called qaval and Armenia where it is called ghaval, it is also widely played the Caucasus, the Balkans.
Many similar frame drums are played in many regions in Georgia including Kartli, Kakheti, Tusheti, Samegrelo, Racha, Imreti.
